Two books written by Dadabhai Naoroji are “Poverty and “Unbritish Rule in India” and “Poverty of India”.

These two books are written on the drain theory proposed by him and both these books are considered as two milestones in pre-independence moderate approach to freedom.

His literary work was largely based on the drain of wealth from India to England during  the colonial rule of British in India.
