simply put the value of x as-1/2 and equate the equation with 0
i.e., 3(-1/2)^2+2×-1/2k-3=0
3/4-1k-3=0
-9/4-k=0
k=-9/4
i.e., 3(-1/2)^2+2×-1/2k-3=0
3/4-1k-3=0
-9/4-k=0
