(1-i)(1-i)=1+i^2-2i=1-1-2i=-2i
since i^2=-1
(1-i)(1-i)/2-i=-2i/2-i= -2i(2+I)/(2-i)(2+i)=(-4i-2i^2)/4-i^2=(-4i+2)/(4+1)
=(-4i+2)/5=x+iy
=> X= -4/5 and y= 2/5
x+y= -4/5 +2/5=(-4+2)/5=-2/5
