If 13 men can complete a piece of work in 36 days, then in how many days will 18 men complete the same work?

We can solve this problem using Unitary Method. It should be clear that there is an inverse relation between men engaged and the time taken to complete any piece of work.



13 men complete the work in = 36 days


1 man will complete the same work in = 36 x 13 ....( inverse relation)


18 men will complete the same work in = (36 x 13) ÷ 18 = 26


So, the required answer is 26 days.
