We get by substracting 3 both sides :
(16)^2x = (64)^x
This can be written as
(2)^8x = (2)^6x
So
8x = 6x
=> x=0

Now (4)^2x-2 = 4^(-2) = (1/4)^2 = 1/16

So, the answer is 1/16

First we will make the bases same.
(4)^2*2x+3 = (4)^3*x + 3
= 4x + 6 = 3x + 9
= 4x - 3x = 9 - 6
= x = 3
Now we need to find the value of 4^2x-2
4^2(3)-2
= 4^6 - 2
= 4^4
= 256.
Therefore, 4^2x-2 = 256
