 \frac{ \sqrt{2} - 1 }{ \sqrt{2}  + 1}  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{2} - 1 }{ \sqrt{2} + 1 }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{2} - 1 }{ \sqrt{2} - 1 }  \\  =  \frac{ {( \sqrt{2} - 1) }^{2} }{ { \sqrt{2}  }^{2} -  {1}^{2}  }  \\  =  \frac{2 - 2 \times  \sqrt{2 }  \times 1 + 1}{2 - 1}  \\  = 3 - 2 \sqrt{2}  \\  = 3 - 2 \times 1.414 \\  = 3 - 2.828 \\  = 0.172
I think the value of root 2 is 1.414 and not 1.4114
