x = 1 or 1/2
When x = 1
3(1) + 1/3(1) = 3+1/3 = 10/3
When x = 1/2
3(1/2) + 1/3*(1/2) = 11/6
When x = 1
3(1) + 1/3(1) = 3+1/3 = 10/3
When x = 1/2
3(1/2) + 1/3*(1/2) = 11/6
