2- x/3 = 4
Take LCM
6/3 -x/3 = 4
(6-x)/3 = 4
6-x = 4×3
6-x = 12
6-12 = x
x = -6.

So,
3x+7
= 3(-6)+7
= -18+7
= -11

Hope it helps.
