Hello !

Here is your answer

4 jars = 20 litre of oil

So 1 jar = 20 / 4 = 5 litres of oil

So 7 such jars = 7× 5 = 35 litres of oil can be filled

Hope it helps :)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of jars = x

Capacity of each jar = y

We know that ,

x is directly proportional to y

x1/y1 = x2/y2

Here ,

x1 = 4 , y1 = 20 litres

x2 = 7 , y2 = ?

x1/y1 = x2/y2

=> 4/20 = 7/y2

=> y2 = ( 7 × 20 )/4

=> y2 = 35

Therefore ,

35 liters of oil filled by 7 jars.
