Given ::- √2sin(60-∅) = 1
To find ::- value of ∅
Solution ::-
Now shifting √2 to the RHS we get
Sin(60-∅) = 1/√2
But, sin45° = 1/√2
So,
Sin(60-∅) = sin45°
Equating the angles,
(60-∅) = 45
- ∅ = 45 - 60
- ∅ = - 15
Minus sign cancels
∴ ∅ = 15°
Therefore the value of ∅ is 15°
