if you want answer like this ,

2x - 5y + k = 0

2(3) - 5 ( -1) + k = 0

6 + 5 + k = 0

11 + k = 0

k = - 11

if you want answer like this ,

2 - 5 y + k = 0

2 - ( - 1 ) + k = 0

2 + 1 + k = 0

3 + k = 0

k = - 3

I hope this will be help you
