If 4/7 of a piece of work is completed in 7/4 days, in how many days can rest of the work be completed ?(a) 7/3 days(b)3/7 days(c) 21/16 days(d) 16/21 days​

Given :-

  • (4/7) of work completed in = 7/4 days.

To Find :-

  • in how many days can rest of the work be completed ?

Solution :-

we know That, Total work is 1.

→ work done = (4/7) of work.

→ work Left to be done = 1 - (4/7) = (7-4)/7 = (3/7) Piece of work.

Therefore,

(4/7) of work completed in = 7/4 days.

→ 1 unit of work completed in = (7/4) /(7/4) = (7/4) * (7/4) = (49/16) Days.

→ (3/7) of work completed in = (49/16) * (3/7) = (7*3)/16 = (21/16) Days. (Option C) (Ans.)

Hence, rest of the work be completed in (21/16) Days.
