Given Equation : 2x² + 3px - 15 = 0

Let f(x) = 2x² + 3px - 15 = 0

Given Zero (root ) = -5

•°• one root of Quadratic Equation = -5

Putting Value of x = -5 in Equation !

2x² + 3px - 15 = 0

=) 2(-5)² + 3p(-5) - 15 = 0

=) 2(25) -15p - 15 = 0

=) 50 - 15 - 15p = 0

=) 35 - 15p = 0

=) 15p = 35

=) p = 35/15

=) p = 7/3

Hence, Value of p is 7/3.
