Given in the question⇒
1200 W electric iron.
Daily uses = 30 minutes.
Now consumption/day as it is given for half an hour,
= $\frac{1200}{2}$
= 600 Wh

Total Days in April = 30
Therefore consumption in total energy,
$600 * 30$
= 18000 W

Or 18000/1000 = 18 kWh.
