Let the equality be X.
Then, a/2 = b/3 = c/4 = 2a-3b+5c/k = X
Equating first three with X,
a = 2X; b = 3X; c = 4X
Substituting these in the last equality,
4X - 9X + 20X/k = X
Canceling X,
-5 + 20/k = 1
I.e. k = 10/3

Answer:

11

Step-by-step explanation:

1st

you have thought,

a/2 = b/3 = c/4 = 2a - 3b + 4c /k = P

so, a = 2P

b = 3P

c = 4P

2a - 3b + 4c / k = P .....(I)

putting the value of a, b, c, in the equation no. (I)

so,

or, 2a - 3b + 4c / k =P

or, (2×2P) - (3×3P) + (4×4P) /k = P

or, 4P - 9P + 16P / k = P

or, k = 11P / P

or, k = 11

so the value of k = 11

(Thanking you)
