Step-by-step explanation:

a= 3√12+2√18 = 6√3 + 6√2 = 6(√3+√2)

b = √2 + √3

NOW

i) a+b= 6(√3+√2)+(√3+√2)

=7(√3+√2)

ii) a-b=6(√3+√2)-(√3+√2)

=5(√3+√2)

iii)2a+3b= 2[6(√3+√2)] +3(√3+√2)

=12(√3+√2)+3(√3+√2)

=15(√3+√2)

iv) 5a-4b= 5[ 6(√3+√2)] - 4(√3+√2)

=30(√3+√2) - 4(√3+√2)

= 26(√3+√2)
