Given :-

 \sf{a =  \frac{4}{5} } \\ \\   \sf{b =  \frac{3}{ - 7} }

To verify :-

(a + b) = (b + a)

Solution :-

  • putting the values of a and b in the relation

 \sf{( a + b) = (b + a)} \\ \\   \sf{ \frac{4}{5}  + ( \frac{3}{ - 7} ) = ( \frac{3}{ - 7} ) +  \frac{4}{5} } \\  \\  \sf{ \frac{4}{5} -  \frac{3}{7 } =  -  \frac{3}{7}  +  \frac{4}{5}   } \\  \\  \sf{ \frac{28 - 15}{35}  =  \frac{ - 15 + 28}{35} } \\  \\  \sf{ \frac{13}{35} =  \frac{13}{35} } \\  \\

LHS = RHS

Hence verified !
