a=8+√3

b=1/a

then a²+b² = ?

a²= (8+√3)²

= 64+3+16√3

=67+16√3

b²= 1/a²

=1/(67+16√3)

a²+b² =

67+16√3+1/(67+16√3)

1+(67+16√3)²/67+16√3

1+67²+16√3²/67+16√3

1+4489+256(3)/67+16√3

4490+786/67+16√3

5258/67+16√3
