If A = {a, b, c, d}, B = {c, d, e, f}, C = {f, g, h, i}

and universal set U = {a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j},

then verify the following:

i. A ∪ (B ∩ C) = (A ∪ B) ∩ (A ∪ C)

ii. A ∩ (B ∪ C) = (A ∩ B) ∪ (A ∩ C)

iii. (A ∪ C)′ = A′ ∩ C′

iv. (B ∩ C)′ = B′ ∪ C′

v. C = (A ∩ C) ∪ (A′ ∩ C)

vi. n (B ∪ C) = n(B) + n(C) − n(B ∩ C)
