u= 20m/s
a = 5m/s²
v=0 m/s as rest has no speed
from first equation of motion
v= u + at
0 = 20-5t
-20 /-5 = t
4 = t
therefore 4 seconds are needed to bus to come to rest...

By applying third equation of motion that is v^=u^+2as
0=400+2*5s
-400=10s
-400/10=s
S=-40
0=400+2*5s
-400=10s
-400/10=s
S=-40
