Given :   a cyclist completes 4 rounds in 16 minutes around a circular track with uniform speed of 6.28 m/s,  

To Find :  the radius of that track

A)120m

B)180m

C)210 m

D)240m​

Solution:

Distance covered in one round = circumference  = 2π(radius)

π = 3.14    , radius = r  m

Hence Distance covered in  one round = 6.28r  m

Distance covered in 4 rounds =  4 * 6.28r   m

Speed =  6.28 m/s

Time = 16 mins = 16 * 60  = 960 sec

Distance = Speed * Time

=> 4 * 6.28r  = 6.28 *  960

=> 4r = 960

=> r = 240 m

radius of that track is 240 m
