6

Outcomes:

1,2,3,4,5 and 6

Total no.of outcomes:6

If E is the event,then the formula would be:

P(E)=Favourable outcomes/Total outcomes

1)Let E be the emperical event

E=Divisible by 2

P(E)=3/6

→P(E)=1/2

→P(E)=0.5

2)Let E be an emperical event

E=Divisible by 3

P(E)=2/6

→P(E)=1/3

→P(E)=0.33

Well mate the die has a total of 6 numbers

and each number has its own of probability

So what we are asked is probability of number divisible by both 2 and 3 which is the number 6

So the chances are 1/6

as of all possible events only one events i.e. 6 will be what we need.

So next time you play ludo you know what are your chances
