if a number added to two third of it then the result is 10 Find the number


please help me fastly....

x + 2/3 * x = 10
3/3x + 2/3x = 10
5/3x = 10
x = 10* 3/5
x = 6

Hey there!!

Let us take the number as ' x '

Two third of the number would be = ( 2x ÷ 3 )

If we add them, we get 10

x + ( 2x ÷ 3 )

LCM = 3

( 3x + 2x ) ÷ 3

5x ÷ 3 = 10

5x = 30

x = 30 ÷ 5

x = 6

Number = 6
