Answer:
let a^x =b^y=c^z=k
now a= k^(1/x) ;b=k^(1/y) ;c=k^(1/z)
and as b^2 =ac; substitute values of a, b, c from above
k^(2/y) = k^(1/x) *k^(1/z) ;
on equating powers we get our desired result
i. e 1/x+1/z =1/y.
