here is your answer:

alpha +beta=-b/a

alpha+beta=5......(1)

and alpha-beta=1....(2)

alpha =1+beta

putting the value of alpha in equation (1)

we get, 1+beta+beta=5

2beta=5-1

2beta=4

beta=4/2

beta=2

alpha=1+beta

alpha=1+2

alpha=3

now, alpha×beta=c/a

3×2=k/1

6=k
