Answer:

If alpha and beta are roots of equation ax2+bx+c=0 then

Alpha+ Beta= -b/a and Alpha×Beta = c/a

Here in this case ,

Alpha+ Beta = -(-b)/a=b/a …….(i)

and Alpha×Beta = c/a. …….(ii)

So two unknowns and two equations which can be solved to calculate alpha and beta.
