Given that quardratic equation
x²-5x+8

Sum of zeroes=-b/a=-(5)/1=5
product of zeroes=c/a=8/1=8
so the value of

a²+b²
=(a+b)²-2ab
=5²-2(8)
=25-16
=9

2) 1/a + 1/b
=a+b / ab
=5/8

that's all
