3x^2 - 2x - 6 = 0
alpha = m
beta = n
m + n = 2 / 3
mn = - 6 / 3 = - 2
(m+n)^2 - 4mn = (m-n)^2
= (2 / 3)^2 - 4(-2)
= 4 / 9 + 8
= 72+4/9
= 76/9
(m-n) = 4 under root 19/3
alpha = m
beta = n
m + n = 2 / 3
mn = - 6 / 3 = - 2
(m+n)^2 - 4mn = (m-n)^2
= (2 / 3)^2 - 4(-2)
= 4 / 9 + 8
= 72+4/9
= 76/9
(m-n) = 4 under root 19/3
