X2 +7x +10 = 0
Let alpha and beta be zeroes of polynomial

Alpha + beta = b/ a
-7/1 = -7
Alpha × beta = c/ a
10 /1 =10
Alpha + beta + alpha × beta
-7 +10
= 3

let f(x)=x²+7x+10
therefore ,on comparing with ax²+bx+c=0
therefore a=1 b=7 c=10
now alpha + beta= -b/a =-7/1=-7
alpha.beta=c/a=10/1=10

now put the values
therefore, alpha + beta + alpha.beta= -7+10=3.
