» Let's the number is = X

Now

» 32% of X = 32×X/100

and

» 17% of X = 17×X/100

_____________________

Now

» ACCORDING TO QUESTION :-

 = > \frac{32 \times x}{100} = \frac{17 \times x}{100} + 120 \\ \\ = > 32x = 17x + 12000 \\ \\ = > 15 x = 12000 \\ \\ = > x = \frac{12000}{15} \\ \\ = > x = 800
______________[ANSWER]

Let the number be 'x'.

According to question:

32% of x = 17% of x + 120

32x/100 =17x/100 + 120

32x/100 - 17x/100= 120

15x/100 =120

x= (120×100)/15

x= 8×100=800

Therefore,x=800
