if base and area of a triangle are y units and x sq. units respectively ,then find the corresponding altitude of the triangle .

area of triangle= 1/2 ×b×h
Given:- area= y units 
             base= x units 

altitude:----   a
 y= 1/2 ×x×a
a = altitude = 2y/x.

HEIGHT = x sq. unit

AREA = 1/2 × B × H

x = 1/2 × y × H

HEIGHT = 2x/y
