If cos B = 2/5 , find the value of 4+4 tanB

heya friends.

CosB=2/5=b/h. ..{consider as b is base h is heipotenous and p is perpendicular of right angle triangle }

so ....

by using Pythagoras theorem

p²=√h²-b²

p=√5²-2²

p=√21

and ...as you know that.

tanB=p/b=√21/2

and ...now putting this value on

4+4tanB

=4+4*√21/2

=4+2√21

=2{2+√2q} Ans.
