If cosec theta= 5/3, then what is the value of cos theta + tan...

First apply this (Cosec theta = 5/3) to any triangle.

Then, by Pythagoras theorem find the other side...

This should give cos theta = 2/5 and tan theta = 3/2.

Simple additon and you get 19/10.
