Hello!
The mean will also be doubled.
For eg.
Let the observation be 2,3 and 4.
So,mean=(2+3+4)/3=3
After doubling the observation we get,
new observation=4,6 and 8
So,mean of new observation=(4+6+8)/3=6
So,we can clearly see the old mean is doubled to get new mean.(3 becomes 6).
The mean will also be doubled.
