Hello!

The mean will also be doubled.

For eg.

Let the observation be 2,3 and 4.

So,mean=(2+3+4)/3=3

After doubling the observation we get,

new observation=4,6 and 8

So,mean of new observation=(4+6+8)/3=6

So,we can clearly see the old mean is doubled to get new mean.(3 becomes 6).
