Given: All exterior angles of a triangle is x.

In a triangle, all the exterior angles add up to 360°.

Therefore x = 120°.

Given: An interior angle is y.

In a triangle, two interior angles add up to an exterior angle.

Therefore y = 60°.

A few extra points:

  • The interior angles of a triangle add up to 180°.
  • Triangles can be of three types, equilateral [all sides are of equal measures], scalene [all sides are of different measures] and isosceles[ [any two sides are of equal measures].
  • The concept of trigonometry can also be used to calculate angle/side measures.

Hope it helps :)
