Explanation:

The alpha particle has twice the charge of the electron.

The force on particle having charge q, moving with the velocity of v in a magnetic field having strength B is given by the  F = q (v x B).

For alpha the magnetic force will be higher since it has higher charge.

F1 - Magnetic force on alpha

F2 - Magnetic force on elecron

So, F1 > F2
