So,we are considering that displacement of the particle is happening along the direction of the force applied.So,angle between them is zero,so W=F×s

So,now if new force F'=2F & new displacement is  s=2s

Then,work done is  W'=2F×2s=4Fs=4W

WORK= FORCE ×DISPLACEMENT
