Since system is in equilibrium so ,

Fs' = 2mg ----- (I)

Fs' = 2mg ----- (I)

k.x = 2mg

x = 2mg/k

Fs = Fs' + mg

From eq. (I)

Fs = 3 mg

k.x = 3mg

x = 3mg\2k
