If glass is an insulator then how do we chage an body by conduction when we touch the body withan positivey charged glass rod ? n silk too being an insulator bt doesnt allow charges tto flow though it when a body is in contact how is it so ?

By rubbing the two bodies together the thermal energy increases and the electrons on the surface of the bodies getting rubbed acquire that energy and get transferred from one to another body.
