Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

Given a triangle ABC,

Given that ∠A and ∠B are complementary,

We say two angles are complementary if the sum of the 2

angles is 90°

Since ∠A and ∠B are complementary, we have

∠A + ∠B = 90°,

Also, we know that sum of angles in a triangle is

180°,  So we have

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°,

But ∠A + ∠B = 90°,

so 90° + ∠C = 180°,

∠C = 90°.

Consider cot C

= cot 90°

= 0 .

Hope, it helps !
