d2-d1 = d3- d2
2k-1 -k = 2k +1- (2k-1)
k-1. = 2
k. 2+1
k= 3

sachinmeena078600: 2k-1 -k = 2k +1- (2k-1) how it happen?????....
shubhamranjan52053: common difference is same in each case if the series is in A.p. so second term minus first term equal to third term minus second term

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

k, 2k-1, 2k+1 are in A.p.

so, the common difference (d) will be equal..

therefore,

d=d

2k-1-(k) = 2k+1 - (2k-1)

2k-1-k = 2k+1-2k+1

2k-2k+2k = 1+1+1+k

2k = 3 + k

2k-k = 3

k = 3
