=>x= -3

=>p(x)=kx³+9x²+4x-10

By remainder theorem,we know that when p(x)is divided by (x+3),the remainder is p(-3).

=>p(-3)=k(-3)³+9(-3)²+4(-3)-10

=>-27k+81-12-10=5

=>-27k+59=5

=>-27K=5-59

=>-27k= -54

=>k=-54/-27

=>k=2
