2x + x = 180° (Since, co-interior angles are supplementary)

=> 3x = 180°

=> x = 180°/3

=> x = 60°

Hope this helps!

Answer:

x = 60°

Solution:

Here,

l || m and n is transversal .

Thus,

∠AEF and ∠CFE are co-interior angles .

Now,

We know that ,

Sum of co-interior angles is 180° .

=> ∠AEF + ∠CFE = 180°

=> 2x + x = 180°

=> 3x = 180°

=> x = 180°/3

=> x = 60°

Hence,

The required value of x is 60° .

Moreover ;

∠AEF = 2x = 2•60° = 120°

∠CFE = x = 60°
