if one of the roots of the equation xsquare-11x+k=0is 9. find the value of k.

your ans

given to us one root of the equation which is 9

putting values in

x2-11x+k=0

(9)2-11×9+k=0

81-99+k=0

-18+k=0

taking the negative number on right hand side

k=18

so the value of k comes out to be 18
