p(2)= 4-8+3= -1

p(-1)= 1-(-4)+3= 8

p(1/2)= (1/4)-(-2)+3= 21/4

p(2)-p(-1)+p(1/2)= -1-8+(21/4) = -15/4

Step-by-step explanation:

 \bf \underline{Solution-} \\

We have p(x) = x² - 4x + 3

p(2) - p(-1) + p(1/2)

= (2² - 4 × 2 + 3) - {(-1)² - 4(-1) + 3} + {(½)² - 4 × ½ + 3}

= (4 - 8 + 3) - (1 + 4 + 3) + (¼ - 2 + 3)

= - 1 - 8 + ⁵/₄

= - 9 + ⁵/₄

= (-36 + 5)/4

= -31/4 Ans.
