Given : Price of soap A is 25% more than the price of soap B,

To Find :  price of soap B is how much less then price of soap A?

1. 25%

2. 30%

3. 20%

4.15%

Solution:

Let say price of soap B =  100B

Then price of soap A  =  100B + (25/100)100B

= 100B + 25B

= 125B

price of soap A  = 125B

price of soap B =  100B

125B - 100B  = 25B

price of soap B  less than price of soap A =  (  25B/125B) * 100

= 100/5

= 20 %

price of soap B is 20 % less then price of soap A
