Solution :

Find the value of θ

sec θ = 2

⇒ sec θ = sec 60°

⇒ θ = 60°

Step 2 of 2 :

Find the value of x

tan θ = √3x

⇒ tan 60° = √3x

⇒ √3 = √3x

⇒ √3x = √3

⇒ x = 1

Hence the required value of x = 1
