let's no b =x
x +(22/100)=25
122x/100=25
x=2500/122
x=$20.49

Answer :-

_________________________
First we should know that what does mark up in price mean

mark up in price mean the extra amount added to cost price to increase it's selling price ,

______________________________

Given

mark up in price = 22% of c.p.

selling price = $25

now from above's defined

x + 22% of x = $25

=> 122/100 x = $25

=> x = 25 × 100/122

=> x = 2500/122

=> x = $ 20.491

hope it helps you

zee95: I will mark you brainliest

Anonymous: and as % = 1/100 × number
