If sin 3 theta= cos(theta-6), find theta

or, sin 3θ = sin {90 - (θ - 6)}

or, sin 3θ = sin (96 - θ) .....(i)

Now, omitting (sin) from both sides of (i), we get

3θ = 96 - θ

or, 4θ = 96

or, θ = 24

Therefore, the value of θ is 24°.
