Answer:

sin=p/h=12/13

so, p=12 and h=13

b^2 =169-144=25

so, b=5

tan=p/b =12/5

sin a = 12/13

by the identity: sin^2(a) + cos^2(a) = 1

we have,

cos a =√(1- sin^2(a))

= √(1- (144/169))

= √(25/169)

= 5/13

tan a= (sin a)/(cos a)

= (12/13)/(5/13)

= 12/5
